We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Human Resources (HR) Assistant to join our team on a 3+ month contract basis. Based in Bothell, Washington, this role offers an exciting opportunity to support key HR functions and ensure smooth day-to-day operations. The ideal candidate will thrive in a collaborative setting and bring expertise in HR processes, administrative support, and customer service.
Responsibilities:
• Support HR functions such as onboarding, recruiting, and employee background checks to ensure compliance and efficiency.
• Maintain and update data in Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) with accuracy and confidentiality.
• Coordinate and manage schedules for interviews, meetings, and other HR-related events.
• Assist with administrative tasks, including preparing reports, managing documentation, and handling correspondence.
• Provide exceptional customer service to employees and candidates by addressing inquiries and resolving concerns.
• Collaborate with team members to improve HR processes and initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant employment laws.
• Organize and maintain employee records, ensuring all documentation is up-to-date and securely stored.
• Support the recruitment process by posting job openings, screening resumes, and coordinating communication with candidates.
• Previous experience in human resources, administrative assistance, or a related field.
• Proficiency in using Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) to manage employee data.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with employees and candidates.
• Knowledge of onboarding and recruiting processes.
• High level of attention to detail and commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Familiarity with employment laws and HR best practices is a plus.
