HR Director
Location: Seattle, WA (Onsite 5 days/week)
Compensation: $180K+ DOE + 20% Bonus + Equity
About the Role
We are seeking a high-accountability HR Director to serve as a strategic partner to our executive leadership team. Reporting directly to the CFO, you will balance high-level strategy with hands-on execution to shape the culture of a lean, high-performance medical device company.
Key Responsibilities
- Commercial Strategic Partnering: Act as the primary HR partner for the SVP of Sales, building systems that motivate and reward top-tier commercial performance.
- Cultural Leadership: Own culture action plans, drive organizational accountability, and mentor the HR Coordinator.
- Change Management: Preserve "startup DNA" during growth, championing an entrepreneurial mindset and a bias for action across all teams.
- Talent & Org Design: Partner with recruitment firms to hire top talent and lead organizational design efforts to ensure scalable structures.
- Operational Excellence: Manage the HR tech stack (payroll, benefits) and identify AI-powered opportunities for process automation.
Qualifications
- Experience: 12+ years in HR with significant leadership experience in high-growth or transitioning environments.
- Sales Fluency: Deep understanding of sales culture, commission structures, and commercial pace.
- Industry Background: Experience in the Medical Device sector is helpful; a mix of large and small company experience is highly preferred.
- Education & Certification: Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or a related field. PHR, SPHR, or SHRM-CP certification preferred.
