Role Description
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated HR Manager to join our dynamic team in a full-time hybrid role based in Kent, WA. The HR Manager will oversee all aspects of human resources operations including recruiting, onboarding, benefits administration, employee relations, compliance with labor laws, and organizational development. They will design and implement HR policies, provide support to staff and management, and ensure alignment with the organization’s mission and values. This role involves managing employee engagement initiatives and fostering an inclusive and collaborative workplace culture. While based in Kent, WA, some work-from-home flexibility is available.
Qualifications
- Strong Human Resources expertise, including knowledge of HR practices, compliance, and employment laws.
- Skills in Recruitment, Onboarding, and Talent Acquisition to attract and retain top talent.
- Experience in Employee Relations, Conflict Resolution, and Organizational Development strategies to support team engagement and performance.
- Proficiency in handling Compensation, Benefits Administration, and payroll processes.
- Excellent Communication, Leadership, and Interpersonal skills for effectively guiding and supporting employees and management.
- Demonstrated ability to create and implement diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field required; HR certification (SHRM-CP, PHR) preferred.
- Proficiency in HR software and tools is an asset.
- Experience working within the nonprofit sector and an understanding of trauma-informed practices is a plus.
