About the Role
Our client is looking for a Part-Time HR Assistant to support their team. This is a long-term contract opportunity.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with recruitment and onboarding processes (posting jobs, scheduling interviews, preparing offer letters, and new hire paperwork)
- Maintain employee records and HRIS system with accuracy and confidentiality
- Support payroll processes by collecting timesheets and verifying information
- Handle day-to-day HR inquiries from employees
- Assist with benefits administration and open enrollment support
- Help organize employee events, training sessions, and team-building activities
- Prepare HR reports and metrics as needed
- Ensure compliance with company policies and employment laws
- Perform general administrative tasks (filing, scanning, scheduling, etc.)
• Proven experience in Human Resources administration and processes.
• Familiarity with HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems) and related tools.
• Strong knowledge of onboarding, benefits enrollment, and orientation for new employees.
• Understanding of compliance regulations, including harassment training and workplace policies.
• Ability to conduct background checks and manage employee records effectively.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Proficiency in handling administrative support tasks for leadership.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
