We are looking for a skilled HR Generalist to join our team on a contract to hire opportunity in West Sacramento, California. In this role, you will play a key part in managing various human resources functions, including employee relations, benefits administration, and onboarding processes. Responsibilities:
• Manage employee relations by addressing workplace concerns and fostering a positive organizational culture.
• Coordinate onboarding processes to ensure new hires have a seamless transition into the company.
• Administer employee benefits programs, including enrollment, updates, and addressing inquiries.
• Oversee daily HR administrative tasks to maintain efficient departmental operations.
• Utilize HRIS systems to manage employee data and generate accurate reports.
• Develop and implement HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with legal and organizational standards.
• Provide guidance to employees and managers regarding HR-related inquiries.
• Collaborate with management to support workforce planning and talent retention strategies.
• Conduct training sessions and workshops to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
• Assist in performance management processes, including evaluations and feedback sessions.
• Proven experience in employee relations and handling workplace issues.
• Proficiency in HR administration, including managing benefits and onboarding processes.
• Familiarity with HRIS systems for data management and reporting.
• Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with employees and management.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a dynamic environment.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
