A growing food manufacturing company is seeking a Director of Human Resources to lead and elevate the HR function. This is a key leadership role partnering closely with the Executive Leadership team to drive both strategic initiatives and day-to-day HR operations.
We’re looking for a hands-on leader who can seamlessly balance execution with strategy, bringing strong business acumen and a practical, solutions-oriented mindset.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as a trusted advisor to executive leadership on all HR-related matters
- Lead and execute HR strategy aligned with business objectives
- Oversee employee relations, ensuring a positive and compliant workplace
- Manage payroll processes and ensure accuracy and compliance
- Ensure full compliance with California labor laws and regulations
- Drive HR initiatives across talent, performance management, and organizational development
Qualifications:
- 5–10 years of progressive HR leadership experience
- Strong knowledge of California labor laws
- Proven experience in employee relations and payroll
- Experience in a manufacturing or similar environment preferred
- Demonstrated ability to operate both strategically and tactically
- Strong business acumen and executive presence
