We are looking for an experienced HR Generalist to join a dynamic team in Durham, North Carolina. This Contract to permanent position is ideal for a detail-oriented individual eager to contribute to a non-profit organization while driving key HR functions such as employee relations, onboarding, and benefits administration. The role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact while supporting organizational goals.
Responsibilities:
• Manage and resolve employee relations issues by providing guidance and support to both staff and management.
• Oversee the onboarding process, ensuring a smooth transition for new hires and maintaining compliance with organizational policies.
• Administer employee benefits programs, providing accurate information and addressing inquiries.
• Maintain and update HR records and data within HRIS systems to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
• Collaborate with leadership to develop HR policies that align with organizational objectives.
• Conduct training sessions on HR-related topics to enhance employee knowledge and engagement.
• Support performance management processes, including evaluations and feedback mechanisms.
• Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements in all HR practices.
• Assist with workforce planning and recruitment strategies to meet organizational needs.
• Evaluate and improve HR processes to enhance operational effectiveness.
• Proven experience in employee relations and conflict resolution.
• Strong knowledge of HR administration, including onboarding and benefits management.
• Proficiency in using HRIS systems for data management and reporting.
• Familiarity with employment laws and regulations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong analytical skills to support HR decision-making.
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
