We are looking for an experienced Bilingual Human Resources (HR) Manager to join our team on a contract basis in New York, New York. This role is ideal for someone who is detail oriented, excels in fostering employee relations, managing HR administration, and overseeing benefit functions. Responsibilities:
• Manage employee relations by addressing concerns, resolving conflicts, and fostering a positive workplace environment.
• Oversee HR administrative functions, including maintaining records, managing compliance, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
• Coordinate benefit programs, ensuring employees have access to resources and support for their health and well-being.
• Utilize HRIS systems to maintain accurate employee data and streamline HR processes.
• Lead onboarding activities to ensure new hires are integrated effectively into the organization.
• Collaborate with leadership to develop and implement HR policies aligned with company objectives.
• Provide guidance and support to employees regarding HR-related inquiries and concerns.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations.
• Analyze HR data and metrics to identify trends and recommend improvements.
• Train and support HR team members to promote detail oriented growth and efficiency.
• Manage day to day functions for union members
• Must be fluent in Spanish
• Proven experience in employee relations, with a focus on conflict resolution and workplace improvement.
• Strong expertise in HR administration and operations, including compliance and record management.
• Familiarity with benefit functions and programs aimed at employee well-being.
• Proficiency in HRIS systems for data management and process optimization.
• Experience in onboarding processes to ensure seamless integration for new employees.
• Knowledge of labor laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with leadership and team members.
• Experience working with unions
