Position Summary
Orlando Health St. Cloud Hospital is seeking a meticulous Human Resources Director who partners with senior HR Executive to provide strategic direction to site operational leadership and the site Human Resources team, to attract, develop and retain top talent. Develops strategic partnerships that are integral to the success of the business and to the support and achievement of goals and objectives.
Responsibilities
- Identifies opportunities to enhance workforce effectiveness by analyzing challenges, prescribing solutions and supporting initiatives in partnership with leadership.
- Leads and executes full-cycle Human Resources site and system initiatives in partnership with Talent Acquisition, Compensation, Benefits, Talent and Career Development, Engagement and Retention to attract, develop and retain top talent.
- Performs data analysis and monitors environmental trends to create projects or programs that enhance team member engagement, create workforce solutions, and increase team member retention.
- Supports leadership effectiveness by advising talent selection, leader onboarding, performance coaching and developmental plans.
- Develops, trains, and mentors HR staff for onboarding and growth.
- Monitors environment for opportunity in change management initiatives and partners with leadership and resources to mitigate risk.
- Ensures consistent policy interpretation and education.
- Coaches and influences executives and business leaders in complex Human Resources situations.
- Collaborates with employee relations team to assist and resolve investigations.
- Provides coaching to leadership on talent productivity, leadership best practices, performance management, and successful employment practices with consistent documentation.
- Facilitates and supports the succession planning process to engage top talent and promote growth.
- Supports the implementation of workforce strategy initiatives by identifying staffing and recruiting needs, partnering with Talent Acquisition, and executing best practices for selecting talent and onboarding.
- Supports and delivers development programs to enhance team member skills, foster career growth, increase leader effectiveness and support organizational goals in partnership with Talent Development.
- Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local regulations to include Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations concerning employment.
- Maintains reasonably regular, punctual attendance consistent with Orlando Health policies, the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standards.
- Maintains compliance with all Orlando Health policies and procedures.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business or related field required. SHRM‑CP, PHR/SPHR or other related HR certification preferred.
- Three (3) years of experience serving as an HR Business Partner or other HR leadership roles with demonstrated experience with successfully executing business strategic imperatives.
- Demonstrates strong generalist knowledge in Human Resources and possesses high level of business acumen.
- Demonstrates excellent relationship building and consultative skills with leaders and is considered a trusted advisor.
