Our client, a leading manufacturing and distribution company, is seeking a skilled and strategic Human Resources Director to oversee and elevate all aspects of the HR function. This fully in-office role requires a hands-on leader with deep experience in workforce management and HR operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and handle the full spectrum of HR operations, including talent acquisition, employee relations, compliance, performance management, and payroll support
- Design, implement, and manage wage and performance plans to drive organizational success
- Develop and deliver engaging training and development programs for all employee levels
- Evaluate and recommend improvements for benefits and insurance programs
- Champion continuous process improvement to optimize efficiency and compliance
- Provide hands-on leadership and guidance to the HR team and across the organization
- Union experience is a plus
Qualifications:
- Proven HR leadership oversight of full process, experience in manufacturing, distribution, or related industries
- Demonstrated success building compensation strategies, training programs, and leading organizational change
- Strong background evaluating benefits, insurance, and compliance programs
- Experience leading process improvement initiatives
