We are partnering with a growing private investment firm to hire an HR / People Operations Analyst to join their expanding HR team in New York. This is an exciting opportunity for an early-career HR professional to gain broad exposure across HR operations, employee lifecycle management, and people processes within a high-performing financial services environment.
The HR team is small, collaborative, and still evolving, which means this role offers the chance to build strong operational foundations while contributing to the development of the HR function over time. The position works closely with senior HR leadership across New York and London and will have exposure to stakeholders across the business.
Responsibilities
• Support core HR operations and employee lifecycle processes including onboarding, offboarding, and HR administration
• Assist with payroll and benefits administration, partnering with internal stakeholders and external vendors
• Serve as a point of contact for employee benefits and HR-related queries over time
• Maintain and audit HR data across systems and reporting tools
• Support HR process improvement initiatives, including identifying opportunities to increase efficiency and automate workflows
• Assist with employee communications and ad hoc HR projects
Ideal Candidate
• Approximately 2–4 years of experience in HR, such as HR Coordinator, HR Analyst, or People Operations roles
• Exposure to payroll and/or benefits administration
• Experience working with HR systems (e.g., Paylocity, HiBob, or similar platforms) is helpful
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills
• Professional, proactive, and comfortable interacting with senior stakeholders
• Interest in process improvement, technology, or AI tools within HR
• Experience in financial services, consulting, or professional services environments is a plus
