The Opportunity
We are hiring a Director of Human Resources to help build and scale the people infrastructure behind Alliance’s growth.
This role will work closely with founders, operators, and leadership teams to ensure employees across the platform are supported, onboarded effectively, and integrated into Alliance systems and culture.
This is a hands-on HR leadership role for someone who enjoys operating both strategically and tactically -building scalable HR processes while also working directly with employees and managers across multiple markets.
The Director of HR will play a key role in supporting acquisitions, integrating new employees into Alliance’s HR platform, and building consistent people practices across a growing organization.
What You’ll Do
- Help build and scale Alliance’s HR infrastructure as the company grows across multiple states and markets.
- Partner closely with founders, operators, and leadership teams to support people strategy, employee experience, and organizational growth.
- Serve as a trusted HR partner to field leaders, ensuring alignment between corporate standards and local operations.
Own core HR processes across the organization, including:
- Onboarding and new hire integration
- Offboarding and employee transitions
- Employee records, documentation, and compliance
- HR systems, payroll coordination, and benefits administration
Lead HR integration for newly acquired businesses, including:
- Transitioning employees onto Alliance payroll and benefits platforms
- Managing I-9 and employment eligibility processes
- Ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local employment regulations
- Supporting employees and managers during the post-acquisition transition
- Aligning HR policies, benefits, and employee documentation across markets
- Work closely with the Operations Integration team to ensure people integration aligns with operational changes.
- Build scalable HR processes including hiring workflows, employee documentation, and performance management frameworks.
- Support leadership on employee relations, performance conversations, and HR guidance.
- Help develop and reinforce Alliance’s values-based culture across markets.
- Improve HR reporting, documentation standards, and organizational visibility as the platform scales.
Who You Are
- 6–12+ years of progressive HR experience in growing or multi-location organizations.
- Experience supporting field-based or multi-state workforces.
- Comfortable operating in founder-led or private-equity-backed environments.
- Strong working knowledge of HR fundamentals including payroll coordination, benefits administration, onboarding, compliance, and employee relations.
- Experience supporting HR integration during acquisitions or organizational growth is strongly preferred.
- Hands-on operator who enjoys building systems while also solving day-to-day people issues.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities.
- Strong communicator who builds trust with founders, managers, and employees.

What Success Looks Like (First 12 Months)
- New employees across all markets experience a consistent, professional onboarding process that reflects Alliance’s mission and values.
- Newly acquired companies are successfully transitioned onto Alliance HR systems, including payroll, benefits, and employee documentation, with minimal disruption to employees.
- HR compliance processes are fully standardized across the organization, including I-9 verification, employee records, and state-level employment requirements.
- Founders and local operators view HR as a trusted operational partner, helping them navigate hiring, employee relations, and team development.
- Clear and scalable HR processes are implemented across the platform, including onboarding, offboarding, employee documentation, and performance management.
- Leadership has improved visibility into workforce metrics including headcount, turnover, hiring pipeline, and employee engagement.
- HR integration becomes a repeatable playbook for future acquisitions, enabling smoother onboarding of employees as Alliance continues to grow.
