We are seeking a dynamic and execution-focused
HR Manager who will oversee
US Talent Acquisition (50%) and
HR Operations (50%). The ideal candidate will have strong experience in healthcare and corporate recruitment along with hands-on exposure to HR operations including employee lifecycle management, compliance, payroll coordination, performance management, and HR reporting. This role requires strong ownership and data-driven decision-making. The HR Manager will drive hiring initiatives, ensure compliance with US labor laws, manage employee lifecycle processes, and act as a strategic partner to leadership.
Key Responsibilities 🔹 50% – Talent Acquisition (US Recruitment)
- Manage full-cycle recruitment for clinical, non-clinical, and corporate roles.
- Partner with hiring managers to understand workforce planning and hiring needs.
- Source candidates through LinkedIn, job boards, referrals, and networking.
- Conduct screenings, coordinate interviews, and manage offer rollouts.
- Ensure compliance with US hiring laws and documentation requirements.
- Maintain ATS, hiring trackers, and recruitment reports.
- Monitor KPIs such as time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, and offer acceptance rate.
- Develop local Michigan talent pipelines and community hiring partnerships.
🔹 50% –
HR Operations & Compliance
- Manage the complete employee lifecycle: onboarding, engagement, performance management, and offboarding.
- Ensure compliance with Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) and Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) requirements.
- Oversee payroll coordination and benefits administration.
- Maintain HRIS data accuracy and employee records. Share attendance reports, time - off reports, dashboards on daily, weekly and monthly basis.
- Support performance review cycles and employee relations matters.
- Ensure workplace compliance with Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) standards.
- Handle employee grievances and conduct workplace investigations when required.
- Support policy development and implementation aligned with US labor regulations.
- Coordinate with legal counsel for compliance matters when needed.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- 5+ years of progressive HR experience in the United States.
- Strong experience in full-cycle recruitment.
- Solid understanding of US federal and Michigan state labor laws.
- Experience managing HR operations in an onsite environment.
- Knowledge of benefits administration and payroll coordination.
- SHRM-CP / SHRM-SCP certification preferred (added advantage)
