Position Summary
Entrega is seeking a detail-oriented, disciplined HR Operations Generalist to support the operational execution of our HR function.
This role is responsible for ensuring accurate, compliant, and consistent administration of core HR processes including payroll preparation, benefits administration, employee lifecycle coordination, and HR documentation management.
In a professional services environment where margin discipline, utilization performance, and compliance matter, precision in HR Operations is critical. This role is primarily in-office to enable close collaboration with HR leadership, Finance, and Service Delivery teams.
Responsibilities

- Employee Lifecycle Administration
- Coordinate onboarding documentation, background checks, I-9 verification, and system setup
- Process employee status changes, compensation adjustments, and documentation updates
- Manage offboarding workflows and ensure complete documentation integrity
- Maintain accurate and audit-ready personnel records
- Ensure consistent application of company policies across employee actions
- Payroll Administration Support
- Prepare and validate payroll data within the HRIS including compensation changes, time-off tracking, deductions, and employment updates
- Ensure payroll data accuracy prior to submission to Finance for final review and processing
- Track leave balances and ensure proper documentation for wage/hour compliance
- Support payroll reporting and audit documentation as required
- Benefits Administration
- Coordinate benefits enrollments, changes, and eligibility tracking
- Support open enrollment processes and documentation
- Maintain accurate records of benefit elections and qualifying life events
- Serve as first-line contact for employee benefit administration questions
- HR Systems & Documentation Discipline
- Maintain data accuracy and integrity within the HRIS
- Execute standardized workflows aligned to HR operational policies
- Ensure consistent documentation standards across employment actions
- Support reporting needs for workforce planning, compensation tracking, and compliance reviews
- Assist in process improvement initiatives to strengthen operational reliability
- Compliance & Operational Support
- Support adherence to federal and state employment regulations
- Maintain documentation required for audits and internal governance reviews
- Escalate compliance risks or documentation gaps to HR leadership
- Assist in preparing materials for investigations or compliance reviews when needed
Qualifications
The following qualifications reflect the experience, capabilities, and attributes typically required to perform successfully in this role.
- 3–6+ years of HR experience with exposure to HR Operations or Generalist responsibilities
- Demonstrated experience supporting payroll data preparation and benefits administration
- Working knowledge of employment law fundamentals and compliance practices
- Experience maintaining HRIS data accuracy and documentation standards required
- Experience in a professional services or consulting environment preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required
- SHRM-CP or similar certification preferred
- Strong attention to detail and process discipline
- High level of accuracy in data handling and documentation
- Ability to work cross-functionally with Finance and operational leadership
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
