We are looking for a skilled HR Business Partner (HRBP) to oversee human resources functions across the Houston and Austin markets. This role requires a confident and experienced individual with a strong background in employee relations, recruitment, and HR systems. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, demonstrate sound judgment, and possess the ability to empower managers while maintaining a firm stance on critical decisions.
Responsibilities:
• Address complex employee relations issues, providing guidance and support to managers and employees.
• Collaborate with managers to improve communication and resolve workplace concerns effectively.
• Manage recruitment efforts, including candidate sourcing, interviews, and onboarding processes.
• Recommend and implement strategies to handle sensitive situations, such as performance management and policy violations.
• Utilize HR systems, including payroll, benefits, and recruitment platforms, to streamline processes and ensure accuracy.
• Promote compliance with company policies and legal regulations, including accommodations and workplace standards.
• Empower managers to confidently address employee performance and behavioral concerns.
• Navigate challenging employee situations with professionalism and integrity, ensuring fair and unbiased resolutions.
• Support organizational goals by fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
• Coordinate with leadership to make recommendations on terminations and disciplinary actions when necessary.
• Extensive experience in employee relations, with the ability to handle complex workplace situations.
• Proven track record in recruitment, including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding.
• Familiarity with HR systems such as payroll and benefits platforms; experience with iCIMS is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with managers and employees.
• Ability to make confident recommendations and stand firm in challenging situations.
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Outlook, Teams, and Word.
• Knowledge of HR compliance, including workplace accommodations and legal standards.
• Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-performing environment.
