We're seeking a Human Resources Director to join our Human Resources department. This position requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication skills, analytical skills, and strategic thinking.
Minimum Qualifications
Seven years of human resources experience; OR
Six years of full-time experience in any field plus four years of human resources experience; OR
A bachelor’s degree plus four years of human resources experience; OR
An advanced degree in human resources, business administration, public administration, industrial and organizational psychology, organizational behavior, or a Juris Doctorate plus three years of human resources experience.
Experience Substitution:
Every 30 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will be credited as one year of experience towards the six years of full-time work experience in any field. The maximum substitution allowed is 120 semester hours which substitutes for a maximum of four years of experience in any field.
Designation as a Society for Human Resource Management Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP), Professional in Human Resources (PHR), or a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) will substitute for a maximum of one year of the required experience.

- Develop and implement comprehensive HR strategies that support LHC's organizational goals.
- Stay updated on federal and state employment laws and regulations, ensuring LHC's compliance while minimizing risks.
- Conduct regular audits to analyze the effectiveness of HR processes and implement improvements.
- Direct and supervise HR staff, including the HR Specialist and HR Analyst, fostering a collaborative work environment.
- Stay informed on applicable Civil Service pay rules and job titles, ensuring appropriate implementation for LHC's needs.
- Act as liaison and point of contact for all ADA/Section 504-related communications for external stakeholders.
- Investigate EEO issues, performance concerns, workplace harassment complaints, and advise executive leadership on fair and consistent resolutions.
