Mission
DoorLoop is hiring a strategic and people-focused HR Manager to partner closely with the Chief People Officer in driving employee engagement, supporting career growth, strengthening managerial capabilities, and ensuring compliance across the organization.
In this role, you will act as a trusted advisor to managers and employees, proactively build a high-performance culture, and collaborate cross-functionally to create a consistent, positive, and scalable employee experience.
Responsibilities
- Partner with the Chief People Officer and business leaders to align HR initiatives with organizational goals and business priorities
- Drive high employee engagement and a positive end-to-end employee experience across the employee lifecycle
- Act as a primary point of contact for managers and employees, addressing concerns with empathy, discretion, and sound judgment
- Design and implement engagement initiatives, wellbeing programs, and employee experience improvements
- Support employees’ career growth through learning and development initiatives, identifying skill gaps and partnering on effective solutions
- Encourage and enable internal mobility through career pathing, development conversations, and talent planning
- Coach and support managers—especially first-time managers and team leaders—on leadership, communication, performance management, and decision-making
- Provide clear guidance, feedback frameworks, and best practices to help managers grow into strong, professional leaders
- Ensure compliance with employment laws, internal policies, and regulatory requirements, proactively identifying and mitigating potential risks
- Maintain accurate documentation and support audits, investigations, and compliance reviews as needed
- Collaborate closely with the broader HR team, contributing to shared projects, initiatives, and continuous improvement efforts
- Adapt to changing business needs in a fast-paced, growing environment while maintaining a people-first mindset
Requirements:
- Proven experience of at least 5 years as an HR Business Partner or in a similar strategic HR role
- Strong understanding of employee engagement, performance management, learning & development, and talent management
- Experience coaching and supporting managers, including first-time managers
- Solid knowledge of HR compliance, employment laws, and risk management practices
- High emotional intelligence with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to build trust and influence across all levels of the organization
- Collaborative, adaptable, and comfortable working in a dynamic, scaling environment
- Data-driven mindset with the ability to use engagement metrics and feedback to inform decisions
- Experience working closely with senior leadership and cross-functional partners

Compensation Range:
The salary range for this position is $100,000 - $135,000 annually. Actual compensation will vary based on a candidate's qualifications, experience, and other relevant factors.
