Beacon Hill is partnering with a growing real estate client in the South Bay to identify an experienced HR Generalist who will support daily HR operations and help strengthen the organization's people practices. This is an excellent opportunity for an HR professional who enjoys being both hands‑on and strategic while contributing to a collaborative, employee‑focused environment.
About the Role
In this position, you'll play a key role in supporting the full range of HR functions, including:
- Coordinating payroll workflows, compensation updates, benefits administration, and leave‑of‑absence programs (such as FMLA, CFRA, and PDL)
- Maintaining accurate employee records and HRIS data while ensuring confidentiality and regulatory compliance
- Advising managers and employees on policies, employee relations matters, and workplace expectations
- Supporting performance management processes, including documentation and corrective actions
- Assisting with investigations, compliance audits, and HR reporting
- Leading recruitment efforts-from sourcing and interviewing to background checks and onboarding-while partnering with department managers to understand hiring needs
- Tracking training, certifications, and compliance‑related requirements
What You Bring
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field
- 1+ year of HR experience (more is welcome)
- Strong communication, organization, and problem‑solving skills
- Ability to work with integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism
- Solid understanding of employment laws and HR best practices
- Experience with HRIS and Microsoft Office programs; ability to learn new systems quickly
Additional Details
- Full‑time role onsite in the South Bay
- Salary range: $85,000 - $90,000 annually
