Job Details
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Human Resources Director to lead all North America HR functions and partner closely with the Executive Leadership Team. This hands-on leader will shape the employee experience, drive talent acquisition and retention strategies, ensure compliance, and foster a high-performance, inclusive culture. You will manage a small HR team and oversee all aspects of the employee lifecycle, from onboarding to development, engagement, and offboarding.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and manage the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, performance management, development, engagement, and offboarding.
- Develop and implement HR strategies and programs that align with organizational goals and support a high-performance culture.
- Lead employee engagement initiatives, including culture events, recognition programs, and feedback mechanisms.
- Advise leadership on workforce planning, organizational development, succession planning, and employee relations.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws and maintain accurate HR records.
- Partner with department heads to understand talent needs and support recruitment for North America roles.
- Oversee the candidate experience to ensure professional and positive interactions throughout the hiring process.
- Advise leadership on best practices in talent acquisition, retention, and employer branding.
- Manage and mentor HR team members to ensure smooth execution of HR programs and initiatives.
- Oversee HR operations, including payroll coordination, benefits administration, HR systems, and policy implementation.
- Support conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and other employee relations matters as needed.
- Support special initiatives such as store openings, team events, and professional development programs.
- Promote diversity, equity, and inclusion throughout the organization.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to leadership, championing both employee and organizational needs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. Advanced degree preferred.
- 8+ years of progressive HR experience, including at least 3–5 years in a director-level role.
- Experience in luxury goods, lifestyle brands, or high-growth consumer-focused companies preferred.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws, HR best practices, and talent management strategies.
