Location: Denver, Colorado (with some national travel)
Compensation: Up to $140,000 USD + benefits

Our client is a global engineering and project delivery organisation employing over 6,000 people worldwide. Following a highly successful first 12 months of US operations, the business is now entering a significant growth phase across North America.
With Denver established as the US hub, the organisation is investing in key leadership roles to support scale, structure, and long-term sustainability. As part of this growth, they are now seeking an experienced HR Manager to lead people operations and provide strong HR governance across the US business.
This role is focused purely on HR and people management — recruitment delivery is supported by the company’s global exclusive recruitment partner, allowing this position to concentrate on building strong HR foundations.
The Role
Based in Denver, Colorado, the HR Manager will oversee all HR activities for the US operation, acting as a trusted partner to leadership and employees alike.
You will play a critical role in developing policies, strengthening culture, supporting managers, and ensuring compliance as the business continues to scale.

Key Responsibilities
HR Operations & Employee Lifecycle
- Manage end-to-end HR processes across the employee lifecycle.
- Lead onboarding and induction programs for new hires.
- Conduct exit interviews and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Employee Relations
- Act as the primary point of contact for employee relations matters.
- Manage grievances, disciplinary processes, and conflict resolution.
- Promote a positive, inclusive, and high-performance workplace culture.
Performance Management
- Develop and maintain performance management frameworks.
- Support managers with feedback, evaluations, and development planning.
- Provide guidance on performance improvement and disciplinary actions.
Policy, Compliance & Governance
- Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with US employment law, federal and state regulations.
- Maintain and update employee handbooks and internal documentation.
Compensation & Benefits
- Support salary frameworks and compensation structures.
- Oversee benefits administration and payroll coordination.
- Ensure consistent and compliant reward practices.
Training & Development
- Design and implement training programs to support employee growth.
- Support leadership development and succession planning.
- Identify skills gaps and recommend development initiatives.
Strategic HR Partnership
- Partner with executive leadership to align HR strategy with business objectives.
- Forecast workforce needs in line with business growth.
- Provide HR insights and data to support decision-making.
Core Duties
- Coordinate HR operations and any supporting HR staff or vendors.
- Manage HR budgets and track HR KPIs.
- Lead new hire orientations and offboarding processes.
- Act as the link between leadership and employees, reinforcing company values and culture.
