LHH is partnering with a fast-growing, private equity-backed company in the North Atlanta area on a search for an experienced HR Director to lead and continue grow its human resources function. The company is in the midst of significant organic expansion and this role will be instrumental in creating scalable HR systems, policies, and processes to support that growth. The culture here is of upmost importance and you will see that from the CEO and down. You will report to the CEO and realize that the leadership team is VERY supportive of the HR function and you will have true partnership here.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner directly with executive leadership on workforce planning, organizational design, and people strategy
- Serve as the primary HR advisor to managers on employee-related matters
- Translate business goals into practical HR policies, programs, and processes across a multi-site organization
- Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and compliance frameworks
- Oversee employee relations, talent acquisition, onboarding, benefits administration, and performance management
- Partner with leadership on training and development needs
Ideal Candidate:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- Preferred to have HR certification (SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP, PHR/SPHR)
- 7+ years of progressive HR experience, with significant generalist responsibility
- Experience supporting organizations with fewer than 200 employees, but more than 50
- Knowledge of employment law and HR compliance
- Proven ability to operate independently and handle confidential matters
- Must currently reside in the Atlanta metro area; local candidates only.
