Job Title: Human Resources Manager
Location: Commerce, Georgia (100% on-site), 5 days a week
Position Type: Full-time, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Position Overview
Lead and own the HR function for Enchem America's 24/7 manufacturing operation. This role has primary responsibility for building and managing the HR team, driving HR operations, employee relations, organizational development, recruitment, and compliance. You'll be a hands-on leader executing strategy while establishing scalable HR systems and policies for a fast-growing organization.
Key Responsibilities
HR Leadership & Team Management
- Lead, develop, and manage the HR team; assign work and supervise daily execution
- Build out the HR function to support organizational growth and workforce needs
- Develop and implement HR policies, SOPs, and compliance documentation
- Lead HR projects including job grading, performance management systems, and training programs
Employee Relations & Workforce Management
- Manage employee relations, workplace investigations, and corrective actions
- Support workforce scheduling, attendance enforcement, and discipline consistency
- Ensure workplace policy enforcement across all departments
- Drive employee engagement initiatives and culture-building programs
- Maintain compliance with federal and Georgia employment laws
Talent Management & Development
- Oversee onboarding, orientation, offboarding, and employee status changes
- Drive recruitment strategy and execution to support rapid company growth
- Support local hiring initiatives to expand U.S. workforce diversity
- Develop succession planning and talent development programs
- Lead performance management processes and compensation planning
HR Operations & Systems
- Maintain HRIS, personnel records, audits, and reporting accuracy
- Support wage analysis and labor cost reporting
- Manage benefits enrollment, open enrollment, and life-event processing
- Serve as primary contact for employee benefits inquiries
Required Qualifications
- 10-20 years of progressive HR management experience in manufacturing or high-volume workforce environments
- Proven track record of building and leading HR teams
- Strong knowledge of HR compliance, wage-hour law, FLSA, and Georgia employment law
- Experience developing and implementing HR policies, programs, and systems
- Advanced Excel proficiency and HRIS experience
- Demonstrated ability to drive organizational change and culture transformation
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented with strong confidentiality and judgment
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in international or multicultural corporate environments
- PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP certification
