About the Position:
This is a critical role that combines strategic planning with operational execution to ensure a successful alignment of performance, talent, and organizational objectives throughout the company. Ideal candidates should have a well-balanced HR background, with emphasis on Leadership Development, Management Training, and Career Pathing duties and initiatives. - Setting: Washington, DC, Hybrid, 3 days on-site.
- Compensation: $150K – $180K

Responsibilities:
- Identify and implement development programs for leadership, employees, and key talent.
- Oversee succession planning and workforce planning to ensure long-term organizational resilience.
- Manage payroll processing operations to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance.
- Manage and lead the annual compensation cycle, including salary adjustments, promotions, and implementation of related compensation policies.
- Ensure HR policies and practices comply with local, state, and federal employment laws and reflect company values.
- Lead workers’ compensation administration, including conducting the annual audit, managing claims disputes, and maintaining compliance and strategic relationships with state authorities.
- Oversee the stock options program, including administration of grants, tracking and reporting of vesting schedules, coordination of grant cycles and approvals, etc.
- Monitor changes in employment regulations and proactively advise leadership on risk mitigation strategies.
- Partner with various resource groups and business leaders to shape an inclusive employee experience.
- Leverage data analysis to influence HR strategy and report results to executive leadership and board-level stakeholders.
- Provide confidential counsel on sensitive personnel issues, organizational dynamics, and leadership transitions.
- Oversee evaluation of benefits offerings to ensure competitiveness with market benchmarks and alignment with evolving employee needs and expectations.
- Oversee and manage the HR budget and 401K plan administration.
- Develop and implement personnel policies and procedures; prepare and maintain the employee handbook.
- Coordinate onsite professional development and training sessions and manage professional development requests.
- Lead and plan companywide events that foster employee engagement and cultivate an inclusive, connected culture.
- Other responsibilities may be assigned, including support for evolving business needs, special projects, and cross-functional initiatives aligned with the company’s strategic priorities.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or Psychology.
- 10+ years of Human Resources experience, demonstrating growth into Senior Management or Director-level responsibilities.
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience with Benefit Programs, Payroll Operations, Compensation Strategies, Employee Development, Employee Engagement Programs, Recruitment, and 3rd Party Consulting services.
- Strong understanding and experience with Laws, Policies, and Compliance within HR and Benefits.
- Strong communicator who has experience collaborating with C-Level leaders.
- Strong Leadership experience and Interpersonal Skills.
- Highly Preferred: MBA in Human Resources, or SHRM Certification.
