Position Details

Role Overview
The HR Manager will function as a business partner provide a range of HR services and collaboration with employees at the site. Recruitment, compliance, employee relations, and performance management will be focus areas for this generalist role.
Overall Job Responsibilities:
- Provide full-cycle recruiting for open requisitions in the US. Implement corporate hiring processes to improve quality of hire and work towards reducing costs of hire
- Conduct new hire orientations and ensure efficient onboarding of all new hires in partnership with IT & Finance.
- Support managers with all their HR needs and requirements, responding in a timely manner to all HR related requests.
- Respond to employee relations issues, following up appropriately with corrective actions.
- Design, support and execute initiatives to drive employee retention and reduce attrition; assist with rolling out employee engagement initiatives.
- Oversee the bi-weekly payroll & Benefits Administration.
- Assist in delivering global and US HR strategy, engaging with US teams / individuals to support them in achieving their objectives.
- Employee handbook is up to date, compliant with labor code, and adhered to by US employees.
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree
Post graduate degree in Human Resources preferred
Experience:
- 3+ years of HR Experience with 2 years of management exp.
- Experience within pharmaceutical/Biotech Industry i
- Engaging interpersonal Skills, Innovative Collaboration, Adaptive Flexibility, Forward Thinking.
Knowledge and Skills:
Deep understanding of biotech-specific hiring — scientific (R&D, clinical, regulatory affairs) and commercial roles.
Adept in managing cross-functional scientific teams
Strong command of US labor laws and best practices
