As a Talent Acquisition / HR Generalist, you will play a key role in driving the company’s people strategy. This hybrid role combines full-cycle recruiting with general HR responsibilities—ideal for someone who thrives in both talent strategy and day-to-day HR operations. You will partner with department leaders to identify hiring needs, attract top talent, and ensure a positive employee experience throughout the lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition
- Lead full-cycle recruitment across multiple departments, from job posting to onboarding.
- Develop and execute creative sourcing strategies to attract top talent.
- Partner with hiring managers to define job requirements and candidate profiles.
- Conduct interviews, evaluate applicants, and make hiring recommendations.
- Maintain and optimize the company’s applicant tracking system (ATS).
- Promote Merchant Industry’s employer brand through online channels and career events.
Human Resources
- Serve as a first point of contact for employee inquiries and HR-related matters.
- Support onboarding, orientation, and offboarding processes.
- Maintain HR records and ensure compliance with state and federal employment laws.
- Administer benefits enrollment, PTO tracking, and performance review processes.
- Partner with leadership to drive employee engagement and retention initiatives.
- Assist in policy development, documentation, and implementation of HR best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- 3–5+ years of experience in HR and talent acquisition roles.
- Strong knowledge of employment law and HR compliance.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Experience using HRIS/ATS platforms (e.g., BambooHR, Paychex, or similar).
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- SHRM-CP or PHR certification a plus.
Compensation And Benefits
- Annual Salary: $85,000–$100,000 (Full-time, exempt)
