We are seeking an HR leader ready to make a significant impact in a dynamic and multi-site organization supporting a diverse workforce spanning production and professional environments to drive HR excellence and organizational growth.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage, lead, and mentor a small HR team.
- Serve as the primary HR leader, consulting with executives and providing expert guidance on employment law, compliance, and organizational strategy.
- Develop and implement HR strategies, policies, and procedures that align with business goals and drive operational excellence.
- Champion employee relations, performance management, and talent development, creating a positive and productive workplace culture.
- Ensure full compliance with state and federal employment laws, labor regulations, and HR best practices.
- Design and execute competitive compensation, benefits, and retention programs.
- Lead HR operations across multiple sites, maintaining a visible and approachable presence.
- Utilize Paylocity HRIS and advanced Excel skills for reporting and analytics.
- Collaborate with management to resolve complex HR issues.
- Build structure and organization, bringing clarity and consistency to HR processes.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
- 8+ years of progressive HR experience, including at least 2 years in HR leadership.
- Proven track record as the top HR professional, comfortable reporting directly to executive leadership.
- Expertise in HR compliance, labor laws, employee relations, performance management, and multi-state HR operations.
- Experience working with a variety of employee populations—production and professional.
- Mastery of Paylocity HRIS and strong Excel skills.
- Exceptional interpersonal, conflict resolution, and organizational skills.
- Ability to travel to multiple sites across the Chicagoland area.
Compensation Range: $90,000 - $130,000 + 10% Bonus
