Job Title: Employee Relations Manager/ HR Manager
Location: North Chicago, IL (Onsite)
Duration: 3 Months + Possible Extension/ FTE
Job Description:
We’re seeking an experienced Employee Relations Manager to serve as a trusted advisor and single point of contact for employee relations across diverse teams. In this role, you will handle complex ER issues, ensure compliance with employment laws and policies, and foster a positive workplace environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert guidance to managers and employees on HR policies and practices.
- Lead and resolve employee relations cases, including investigations.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Maintain accurate and confidential ER records.
- Develop and deliver ER-related training programs.
- Manage ER projects, balancing business, employee, and legal needs.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field.
- 5+ years of employee relations or HR experience.
- Strong knowledge of HR regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Proven ability to handle sensitive issues with discretion and professionalism.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and project management skills.
