System One is urgently seeking two dedicated HR Specialists to assist with processing over 600 I-9 verifications for our valued employees during a critical transition period. This role will be entirely remote, providing you the flexibility to work from the comfort of your home while ensuring compliance with federal employment regulations.
Key Responsibilities:- Schedule and facilitate virtual I-9 verification meetings with employees using Microsoft Teams, ensuring a professional and effective meeting environment.
- Thoroughly review and verify identity and employment authorization documents for accuracy and compliance.
- Accurately complete Section 2 of the I-9 form within Workday, ensuring every detail is recorded correctly.
- Maintain organized and compliant records of completed I-9 forms, adhering to all federal regulations.
- Stay up-to-date with I-9 compliance requirements, best practices, and any regulatory updates to ensure full adherence to policies.
Qualifications:- Education: Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
- Experience: A minimum of 3 years of experience in Human Resources or a related field, with a strong understanding of I-9 processes and compliance.
Knowledge & Skills:- In-depth knowledge of I-9 processes, practices, and legal compliance requirements.
- Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in document verification and data entry.
- Proficient in Microsoft Teams, including breakout room functionality for effective remote verifications.
- Strong professional communication and interpersonal skills, demonstrating tact and diplomacy in all interactions.
- Highly organized with excellent planning abilities and a commitment to follow-through.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding sensitive employee information.
- Proven capability in building and maintaining collaborative working relationships.
Technical Skills:- Proficiency in Workday for data management and I-9 form completion.
- Competency in using Microsoft Teams for virtual communications and meetings.
Physical Requirements:- Prolonged periods of sitting and working on a computer.
- Ability to actively engage in video conferences and virtual meetings.
- Must maintain reliable internet connectivity within a remote/home office setting.
- Willingness to work occasional extended hours during peak workload periods.
