CBIZ is excited to partner with a global law firm in the search for a Human Resources Coordinator for their office in west Los Angeles. This is a hybrid position. The ideal candidate will have 3-5+ years of experience in a human resources support role and strong technical skills.
Responsibilities:
-Assisting with benefits administration
-Sending out new hire paperwork, initiating background screenings and processing employment verifications
-Answering basic questions about HR policies and procedures
-Posting positions into company portal and entering and tracking applicants
-Maintaining personnel files (active and terminated employee records) and I-9s; responsible for E-verify
-Assisting with aspects of the annual performance review process for Associates and Professional Staff
-Scheduling interviews
-Assisting with coordination of firm events
-Additional duties as required
Qualifications:
-3-5+ years of experience in a human resources support role from a mid-size to large organization (PLEASE DO NOT APPLY IF YOU DO NOT HAVE THIS LEVEL OF EXPERIENCE)
-Law firm experience strongly preferred
-Knowledge of HR-related programs/software including Workday or other time/attendance or HRIS database systems; as well as Workday Recruiting or other applicant tracking system
-Bachelor's Degree AND Professional in Human Resources (PHR/SPHR) or SHRM-CP/SCP certification preferred
-Excellent oral and written communication skills
-High attention to detail, outstanding organizational skills, and the ability to manage time effectively
-Proficiency in Windows-based software and Microsoft Office Suite applications, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook
The salary range for this position is from $65,000-$80,000, DOE.
