A recognized services organization in New Jersey is actively seeking an experienced HR professional to join their staff as their new Director of Human Resources.
About the Opportunity:
- Hybrid or Remote: Onsite
- Monday to Thursday, Work From Home on Friday
- Hours: 8am to 4:30pm with some flexibility required
- Setting: Corporate headquarters
Responsibilities:
- Aligning HR strategies with business objectives in collaboration with executive leadership
- Leading workforce planning, talent acquisition, and retention strategies
- Overseeing payroll processing and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
- Ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and local labor laws
- Managing, mentoring, and developing an HR team of five professionals
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in Human Resources
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- Expert knowledge of HR policies, practices, and laws
- Proficiency in Microsoft applications
- Strong communication and analytical skills
- Excellent leadership and time management skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive matters
- Innovative and collaborative mindset
Desired Skills:
- 3+ years of experience in an HR Leadership role
- SHRM-CP certification
- Experience with ADP Workforce Now
