We’re looking for highly experienced Human Resources Managers in San Diego, San Jose, and Minneapolis. The HR manager is essential in shaping how we work with our people and in creating a culture where excellence, innovation, and teamwork thrive.
You’ll be a trusted advisor to our leaders and managers across different parts of the organization. The HR Manager will be required to come into the office and travel occassionally to other locations.
Responsibilities
• Partnering with the executive leadership team to understand and execute the organization’s human resource and talent strategy particularly as it relates to current and future talent needs, recruiting, retention, and succession planning.
• Develop and implement HR policies and procedures that comply with relevant regulations and promote a positive employee experience.
• Lead recruitment efforts to attract top talent, including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding new employees.
• Drive employee engagement initiatives to foster a positive work environment and enhance employee satisfaction and retention.
• Manage performance evaluation processes and provide guidance and support to managers on performance-related issues.
• Design and deliver training programs to enhance employee skills and capabilities and support career development.
• Administer compensation and benefits programs, ensuring competitiveness and equity.
• Handle employee relations matters with professionalism and sensitivity, resolving conflicts and addressing grievances effectively.
• Stay on top of industry trends and best practices in HR and leverage this knowledge to continuously improve HR processes and practices.
Essential Skills
• 7+ years progressive experience in Human Resources with a broad understanding of end-to-end human resources.
• Bachelor’s degree (Masters degree a plus) and/or equivalent experience in Human Resources, Organization Development, or a related field
• Proven track record of developing and implementing HR strategies that drive business results.
• Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
• High EQ, personal maturity, cultural awareness, and compassion. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
• Strategic thinker with the ability to translate business goals into actionable HR initiatives.
• Get-stuff-done mentality. Able to produce quickly and be flexible as our company can shift and change rapidly.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
• Industry-recognized certifications (PHR, SHRM-CP, CHRP, etc.)
• Startup experience
• Government clearance is preferred
