LHH is partnering with a growing Fort Worth area organization who is seeking a strategic and hands-on HR Manager to lead their benefits administration and 401(k) program management. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment, has a deep understanding of employee benefits, and excels at negotiating with vendors to deliver top-tier offerings for the team. You’ll be the go-to expert for all things related to benefits strategy, compliance, and employee engagement.
This role is 100% onsite with standard business hours.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, negotiation, and administration of employee benefits programs, including health, dental, vision, life insurance, and disability plans.
- Manage and optimize the company’s 401(k) plan, including vendor relationships, compliance, and employee engagement.
- Serve as the primary liaison with benefits providers, brokers, and financial advisors.
- Conduct regular benchmarking to ensure our benefits remain competitive and cost-effective.
- Educate employees on benefits offerings and retirement planning through workshops, one-on-one sessions, and written communications.
- Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations (ERISA, HIPAA, COBRA, ACA, etc.).
- Partner with Finance and Legal teams to align benefits strategy with company goals.
- Support broader HR initiatives including onboarding, employee relations, and performance management as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- 5+ years of HR experience with a strong focus on benefits and retirement plans.
- Proven track record in negotiating benefits packages and managing 401(k) plans.
- In-depth knowledge of benefits compliance and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP/SCP certification preferred.
