About Our Client:
Addison Group is working exclusively with our client, a manufacturing organization, to identify an accomplished Human Resources Director. This position is both strategic and hands-on, overseeing HR functions across the Americas region while collaborating with global leadership.
Job Description:
The Human Resources Director will provide both leadership and operational oversight for HR programs and initiatives. This role partners directly with executives and regional leaders to ensure HR strategies align with business goals, while managing day-to-day functions such as employee relations, compensation, benefits, talent acquisition, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead HR operations including recruitment, employee relations, payroll, HRIS, benefits, and learning & development.
- Manage and mentor a team of HR professionals across multiple disciplines.
- Partner with senior leadership to drive organizational culture, engagement, and people strategy.
- Oversee compensation and benefits programs to maintain competitiveness and employee satisfaction.
- Support workforce planning and talent management efforts, ensuring strong pipelines for growth.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, regulations, and company policies across all regions.
- Collaborate with global HR teams to ensure alignment with international business objectives.
Qualifications:
- 10–15 years of progressive HR experience, with 5+ years in leadership roles.
- Strong background in Learning & Development or Total Rewards, plus experience with culture and organizational design.
- Experience in manufacturing, ideally within a small to mid-sized organization.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required.
- Proven international/global HR experience and willingness to travel 5–6 times annually.
- Confident communicator with ability to influence, set boundaries, and build strong relationships.
- Bilingual (Spanish, Portuguese, Japanese) a plus, but not required.
- Certifications such as MBTI Practitioner are nice to have.
