Overview
A fast-growing energy platform is seeking a Director of Human Resources to report to the CEO and build a best-in-class HR function from the ground up. This role will drive talent strategy, develop scalable HR infrastructure, and support an active M&A pipeline, while fostering a high-performance, safety-driven culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead full-cycle recruiting and workforce planning across corporate and operational teams
- Build and scale HR infrastructure, including policies, HRIS/ATS, and onboarding programs
- Oversee PEO relationship and benefits administration; evaluate long-term strategy
- Serve as a trusted advisor on employee relations, compliance, and performance management
- Design compensation structures and total rewards programs
- Lead HR diligence and integration efforts across M&A transactions
Qualifications
- 8–10+ years of progressive HR experience, including building HR functions in growth environments
- Strong recruiting leadership across diverse functions
- Experience supporting M&A (due diligence and integration)
- Knowledge of employment law and HR best practices
- PEO and benefits administration experience preferred
- HR certification (SHRM or PHR/SPHR) a plus
