Description
Summary/Objective: The Human Resources (HR) Manager originates and leads HR practices and objectives that will provide an employee-oriented; high performance culture that emphasizes empowerment, quality, productivity, and standards. This role is responsible for goal attainment, recruitment, and the ongoing development of a qualified workforce.
The HR Manager will oversee Human Resources across multiple sites, ensuring consistency with HR practices and compliance with company policies and regulations, and effective communication between sites. Additionally, the HR Manager will coach managers and supervisors on effective employee relations.

HR Planning and Administration
- Develop and Administer HR Plans: Create and manage human resources plans and procedures for all company personnel across multiple sites.
- Strategic HR Initiatives: Develop strategic HR plans and initiatives to support business goals.
Safety and Compliance
- Safety Programs: Oversee the development and implementation of safety programs, ensuring compliance with OSHA and other regulatory requirements.
- Policy Compliance: Ensure all company policies and procedures are up to date and in line with current employment law. Keep managers informed of any policy changes.
Employee Engagement and Development
- Employee Engagement: Design and implement initiatives to foster a positive work environment and improve retention rates.
- Diversity and Inclusion: Develop and implement programs to promote a diverse and inclusive workplace culture.
- Manager Coaching: Coach managers and supervisors on employee relations and effective coaching and counseling techniques.
HR Analytics and Reporting
- HR Metrics: Utilize HR analytics to track and report key HR metrics, such as turnover rates, training effectiveness, and employee satisfaction.
- Records and Reports: Establish and maintain department records and reports. Maintain company organization charts.
Recruitment and Onboarding
- Recruitment Efforts: Conduct recruitment efforts for all exempt and nonexempt personnel; conduct new-employee orientations; provide employee relations counseling, exit interviews, stay interviews, and write and place advertisements.
- Employee Terminations: Manage the employee termination process, including conducting termination meetings, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements, and handling all related documentation.
Requirements
Required Education and Experience
- A bachelor’s degree and five years’ human resource experience, or five plus years’ experience in the HR field in a supervisor or manager position.
