Overview
The Human Resources team serves as an integral strategic partner across the organization in the areas of organizational strategy, employee data, talent planning, talent acquisition and onboarding, performance and rewards, building capabilities and employee engagement. The Human Resources Director plays a critical role in the development of processes, specifically associated with Leaves of Absence, tools and systems designed to deliver on our strategy elements across the business.
Responsibilities
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Is the main liaison with our Leaves of Absence partner, managing the vendor relationship, metrics and performance of the program.
- Partners with leaders to understand leaves of absence and execute on compliant processes.
- Serves as the organizations accommodations expert, acting as a point of escalation for the LOA vendor.
- Reviews LOA process and policy, looks for and executes process improvement opportunities.
- Collaborate with leadership to understand skills and competencies required for key roles
- Partner with the leadership team to understand future talent needs and succession planning
- Build a talent planning and succession planning repeatable process for deployment level by level in the organization
- Document current state and design future state HR process to enable the HR strategy
- Partner to ensure integration across platforms for consistent delivery and a nalyze trends and develop programs to attract and retain top talent and expand the pipeline
- Steward the development and evolution of company culture
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
- Recommend best practices, review, and administer policies and practices to maintain compliance
- Take a true hands-on approach and successfully monitor the "pulse" of the employees to ensure a high level of engagement
- Understand business goals and recommend thoughtful new approaches, policies, and procedures to affect continual improvements in business objectives, productivity, and development of HR within the company
- Deliver results in a fast-paced environment with a high-volume workload supporting HR functions and operations leadership
- Drive and direct the deployment and implementation of key HR processes
- Continuously innovate HR solutions, process improvements and efficiencies
- Lead projects at a corporate level, influence and obtain buy-in from stakeholders, and then drive execution and achievement of the right results using effective project management skills
- Ensure accuracy and integrity of processes/data, generate reports, dashboards, and HR specific analytics
- Create the framework and environment for cyclical HR events
- Provide support and guidance to client groups when complex employee matters arise
- Perform other duties as required

Education/Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred
- A minimum of 10 + years of progressive Human Resource management experience is required
- Experience using PC applications (MS Office) and HR Systems (Ceridian Dayforce Preferred)
