The SC Float HR Manager is a highly experienced Human Resources leader who provides on-site interim HR management support across Benedictine’s long-term care communities. This position is responsible for developing, planning, and implementing HR strategies at assigned communities. This position is deployed to locations (communities) experiencing HR vacancies, leaves of absence, leadership transitions, or elevated operational need. In addition to stabilizing day to day HR, payroll and benefits operations, this position plays a key role in ensuring consistency in HR practices. All HR practices must be in compliance with federal and state laws and regulatory compliance, and align with Benedictine’s mission-driven, resident-centered culture. This position reports to the SVP, People Development.
- Stabilizes community Human Resource functions in Benedictine communities, as assigned.
- Acts as interim HR leader in Benedictine communities, as assigned.
- Oversees employee relations & investigations.
- Supports file audits & HR compliance audits.
- Promotes the Benedictine Mission and Core Values of Hospitality, Stewardship, Respect and Justice by bringing the Mission and Core Values into the day-to-day activities of the company.
- Performs other duties, tasks, and/or projects as assigned.
Qualifications Required
- Bachelor’s Degree and three (3) to five (5) years’ experience OR Associate’s degree and seven (7) years’ experience
- Full-Cycle HR experience, including use of HCM systems including HRIS, ATS, Payroll, and Scheduling systems
- Valid Driver’s License and acceptable driving record that meets Benedictine’s requirements
- Ability to travel up to 2/3 of work time via car or air carrier
Qualifications Preferred
- Labor relations experience, experience working in a union facility
- Knowledge of healthcare industry
- Professional in Human Resources Certification (PHR)
