We are looking for an experienced HR Generalist to join our team in Tacoma, Washington. This contract position offers an opportunity to contribute to various HR functions, including employee relations, benefits administration, and onboarding processes. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in human resources and a commitment to fostering a positive workplace environment.
Responsibilities:
• Manage employee relations by addressing concerns, resolving conflicts, and ensuring compliance with company policies.
• Oversee onboarding procedures to ensure new hires are effectively integrated into the organization.
• Administer benefit programs, including enrollment, changes, and employee inquiries.
• Utilize HRIS systems to maintain accurate employee records and generate reports.
• Develop and update departmental standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistency.
• Handle workers' compensation cases, ensuring proper documentation and compliance with legal requirements.
• Coordinate corporate recruiting efforts to attract and retain top talent.
• Prepare and maintain documentation for various HR processes and initiatives.
• Create job aids and training materials to support employee development.
• Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations in all HR practices.
• Proven experience in employee relations and conflict resolution.
• Strong knowledge of human resources administration, including benefits and onboarding.
• Proficiency in using HRIS systems for record-keeping and reporting.
• Familiarity with workers' compensation laws and procedures.
• Ability to create and maintain departmental SOPs.
• Experience in corporate recruiting and talent acquisition.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills for interacting with employees at all levels.
