Job Overview/Summary
The Human Resources (HR) Manager is responsible for leading and executing all aspects of Human Resources for US Operations in a fast-paced, growth-oriented CDMO environment. This role serves as both a strategic business partner and hands-on operator, responsible for building scalable HR systems while directly executing core HR functions.
The HR Manager will partner closely with site leadership to support organizational growth, workforce planning, and operational excellence, while ensuring compliance with corporate policies and applicable regulatory requirements. This position is ideal for a “player-coach” leader who thrives in an execution-driven environment and is comfortable balancing strategy with day-to-day HR delivery.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
- Manage and execute all site HR functions, including compensation, benefits, staffing, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, engagement, compliance, and separations, while aligning with corporate HR policies, programs and procedures.
- Act as a strategic partner to site leadership, contributing to business planning, organizational design, and workforce scaling strategies aligned with business and growth objectives.
- Provide hands-on support and coaching to managers and employees on employee relations, performance management, and organizational effectiveness
- Lead employee relations matters, including investigations, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution, ensuring consistency and legal compliance
- Lead and manage full-cycle recruiting efforts, including workforce planning, talent pipeline development, and hiring for critical technical roles, internship program, ensuring continuity of operations and development of future leaders
- Continually evaluate and enhance existing HR processes and infrastructure to ensure they remain scalable, efficient and effective in support of organizational growth (e.g., HRIS, ATS, onboarding programs, performance frameworks, leveling structures)
- Partners with site training to meet regulatory and corporate compliance, while focusing on building the critical skills and competencies required to handle present and future jobs more effectively.
- Design and administer competitive compensation and reward programs aligned with market benchmarks and business needs
- Track and analyze HR metrics (e.g., turnover, time-to-fill, engagement) to inform decision-making and continuous improvement
- Implement initiatives to strengthen company culture, employee engagement, and retention in a high-growth environment.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in relevant discipline (e.g., Human Resources, Business Management or equivalent) is required
- Minimum of 5+ years of broad-based human resource experience along with 2+ within a leadership role, ideally in Life Science
- Demonstrated ability to balance strategic planning with day-to-day HR execution
- Strong knowledge of employment law, compliance, and HR best practices
Preferred Qualifications
- S/PHR or S/CP certification is a plus
- Exposure to the pharmaceutical, diagnostic or medical device industries preferred
- Experience implementing or optimizing HR systems (HRIS, ATS, performance tools)
