- As a HR Generalist you will collaborate with peers, People Business Partners, and our Centers of Excellence (COE’s) across the People Team to propel the organization forward.

What You'll Do

- Support leaders of the Inflight Performance Team in conducting thorough, timely and consistent team member relations investigations.
- Provide guidance to leaders on performance management, career development, and progressive discipline for both represented and non-represented team members.
- Serve as a trusted resource to support mediation and resolution of HR-related queries and concerns from team members.
- Leverage data and workforce metrics to proactively identify trends and recommends improvements.
- Work closely with the People Business Partner on strategic imperatives: talent strategy, learning and development, ways to optimize performance and build a culture of engagement.
- Partners with ADA team to evaluate accommodation requests and guide leaders on appropriate next steps.
- Support leaders with the talent management cycle including recruiting activities, onboarding plan support and offboarding.
All you'll need for success
Minimum Qualifications – Education & Prior Job Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business management or related field or equivalent experience/ training
- 3 years of human resources experience
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Professional maturity to handle confidential information with discretion
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
Preferred Qualifications – Education & Prior Job Experience
- Familiar with state and federal employment laws including but not limited to: FMLA, ADA, FLSA, NLRB, Title VII, etc.
- PHR/SPHR certification
- Experience in providing guidance and counsel to leaders
- Strong business and HR acumen
- Experience reporting, analyzing, interpreting, and critical thinking
- Experience understanding the logistics of Collective Bargaining Agreements
Skills, Licenses, And Certifications
- Proficient with Microsoft Office to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.
- Ability to work independently and be highly self-motivated
- Strong initiative and high judgment abilities / skills
