About the Role
We are seeking an experienced HR Manager / Senior HR Executive with strong expertise in US immigration and talent management to lead end-to-end HR operations for our US business. The role requires deep knowledge of US employment laws, compliance frameworks, and strategic HR leadership.
Key Responsibilities
1. US Hiring Laws & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with federal and multi-state employment laws.
- Provide guidance on W2, C2C, and 1099 employment models.
- Oversee wage/hour laws, anti-discrimination policies, background checks, and onboarding compliance.
- Monitor labor law updates and maintain internal compliance frameworks and KPIs.
2. US Immigration Management
- Manage H-1B, Green Card, and other visa processes.
- Coordinate with immigration attorneys and ensure USCIS compliance.
- Oversee I-9, E-Verify, work authorization tracking, and documentation.
- Guide employees on visa extensions, transfers, and amendments.
3. HR Operations
- Manage onboarding, offboarding, payroll coordination, and benefits administration.
- Handle employee relations, performance management, and HR policy development.
- Maintain HRIS systems and reporting.
4. Strategic HR Leadership
- Drive workforce planning and talent strategy.
- Lead employee engagement initiatives.
- Ensure audit readiness and compliance excellence.
- Mentor and develop HR teams.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- Experience managing HR teams and multi-state compliance.
- SHRM / PHR certification preferred.
