The Corporate Recruiter will work closely with the Recruiting Leads to support staffing needs, with a primary focus on TechOp’s contact and customer service center portfolio, leveraging best practices and techniques for supporting our customers effectively. The ideal candidate will be someone who wants to take the next step in their recruiting career, has a solid foundation in government contracting or recruiting agency support, and is able to efficiently manage a high-volume candidate pipeline.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with Hiring Managers and Recruiting Leads to gain a comprehensive understanding of TechOp’s hiring needs for each position.
- Serve as the primary Recruiter managing the full recruiting lifecycle across the contact center portfolio to find, hire, process, and onboard quality talent. Execute tasks with a strong sense of urgency, consistently meeting established turnaround times and service-level expectations.
- Screens resumes, interviews candidates (by phone, pre-recorded video, and/or in-person), and administers appropriate assessments, reference checking, makes recommendations for hire (or no hire)
- Follows up with candidates and Hiring Managers to ensure updated information on the interview process status
- Manages and reports on current candidate activity in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS); apply data analysis skillsets and tools to evaluate pipeline health and make recommendations when changes are required.
- Draft and deliver employment offers for both exempt and non-exempt position openings
- Manages the security process for all contingent hires, including providing guidance to candidates about the process, answering questions, and checking documents for accuracy before submitting for processing.
- Meet competitive hiring goals and expectations; quickly learns, adopts, and independently operates new systems, tools, and workflows with minimal guidance;
- Develop job descriptions
- Grow and foster high-touch relationships with a database of qualified active and passive talent to pull from as new positions open up
- Continuously partner with recruiting team and senior managers to design, refine, and implement innovative recruiting strategies
- Stay active with current with job boards, social networks, and platforms to find talent, and plan, create, and release job descriptions and announcements
- Uses online resources to source and identify potential candidates that meet specific requirements and experience
- Communicates important employment information during delivery of employment offers (i.e. benefits, compensation, non-competition agreements, etc.)
- Ensures compliance with all federal/state laws and regulations
- Accurately uploads, tracks, and maintains documentation within ATS, HRIS, and security systems, ensuring proper labeling, version control, and audit readiness.

- BA/BS + 2-3 years of experience in recruiting required
- Experience in federal contracting recruiting highly desired
- Applied knowledge of the recruiting life cycle
- Demonstrated ability to efficiently manage multiple systems and competing priorities simultaneously while maintaining accuracy, compliance, and data integrity.
- Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint) and other basic office software, such as Adobe.
- Demonstrated proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems, HRIS platforms, background screening tools, job boards, and internal recruiting and security-related technologies.
- Exceptional communication (both written and verbal), interpersonal, and decision-making skills
- Experience utilizing and navigating online recruiting platforms such as LinkedIn, ClearanceJobs, Indeed, and Handshake
- Experience handling a high-volume candidate pipeline and portfolio
- Experience working with job board databases to find qualified candidates, HR software, databases, and management systems
- Proven experience conducting various types of interviews
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience working or supporting a federal government contracting company
- Experience ensuring position descriptions are posted to all state/diversity job boards
- Experience recruiting for Service Contract Act (SCA) covered positions
- Working knowledge of SCA wage determinations, labor categories, and compliance considerations
- Familiarity with government contract staffing requirements, including clearance requirements, onboarding timelines, and flow-down obligations
