We are looking for an experienced Human Resources (HR) Generalist to join our client's team in New York, New York. This role requires an individual with robust expertise in employee relations, benefits administration, and HR compliance within a regulated environment. The ideal candidate will bring strong organizational skills, cross-cultural sensitivity, and proficiency in HR systems to support diverse business needs.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee and manage employee relations, ensuring fair and consistent practices across the organization.
• Administer benefits programs, including retirement and health plans, while acting as a fiduciary to ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
• Collaborate on onboarding processes to create a seamless experience for new hires.
• Maintain and update HRIS systems to ensure accurate and up-to-date employee information.
• Provide guidance on compliance with employment laws, including ERISA and other regulatory requirements.
• Conduct training sessions and workshops to enhance employee understanding of policies and benefits.
• Analyze and interpret HR data to support strategic decision-making.
• Develop and implement HR policies that align with organizational goals and legal standards.
• Support cross-cultural initiatives to promote diversity and inclusion within the workplace.
• Partner with leadership to address workforce planning and organizational development needs.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as an HR Generalist, preferably in a highly regulated industry.
• Strong understanding of employment laws and compliance requirements, including ERISA.
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Familiarity with HRIS systems and their functionality.
• Demonstrated ability to manage benefits programs and act as a fiduciary.
• Proven experience handling employee relations and driving positive workplace outcomes.
• Cross-cultural experience and a commitment to fostering diversity in the workplace are highly desirable.
