Manhattan based financial services firm seeks a Vice President of Human Resources to join their organization. The ideal candidate will have 10-12 years of experience in human resources and people management. This is a great opportunity to lead and shape the entire HR function for a dynamic, fast-growing organization.
Salary: $200-250K base + bonus and great benefits
4 days onsite, 1 remote
Hours 8:30-6
Requirements:
- Develop and execute HR strategies that align with business objectives, fostering a high-performance and inclusive culture.
- Oversee talent acquisition, employee engagement, performance management, and compensation programs.
- Design and manage employee engagement programs that promote employee satisfaction and retention.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Manage employee relations and contribute to strategic workforce planning.
- Oversee the onboarding process, ensuring new hires have a smooth integration into the company.
- Promote learning and development initiatives while continuously improving HR policies.
Qualifications:
- 10 + years in HR with expertise in talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, and compliance.
- Bachelor’s in HR or Business (MBA preferred), HR certification is a plus.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent analytical skillset with a strategic, data-driven mindset.
- Knowledge of employment laws, HR best practices, and experience designing compensation and benefits programs.
- High discretion and ability to work with senior leadership.
- Financial services experience is preferred.
- Passion for cultivating a positive, engaging workplace in a fast-paced environment.
