We are looking for a leader to oversee our Human Resources team at Metropolitan Cabinets and Countertops, a leading cabinet and countertop manufacturer. Spanning 5 locations and a state of the art factory in Norwood, we have continually grown and are now over 200 employees. This role will involve recruiting/hiring, onboarding, benefits administration, employee relations as well as ad hoc administrative functions.
Duties:
- Recruiting/hiring/onboarding new employees
- Maintain strong employee relations across all divisions of the company
- Maintain details organization of HR files using our HRIS system
- Benefits administration and maintenance
- Deal with any disciplinary action and ensure it is documented
- Maintain and update our HR handbook
- Oversee employee evaluations
- Meeting regularly with senior management/ownership regarding any issues
Additionally, we will want you to monitor and oversee trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
Ideal Qualifications:
- Minimum of 7 years of HR Generalist and Recruitment experience
- Must be a strong independent worker but can also work collaboratively with other departments
- Strong time management skills, detail oriented and pay close attention to details
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Always looking at ways to improve processes and make things more efficient
- People Management is a plus
