Summary of What You Will Be Doing in This Role
- Serve as a strategic HR partner to Nursing leadership, including direct collaboration with Nurse Leaders and the Chief Nursing Officer
- Provide expert consultation on organizational development, change management, employee engagement, and workforce planning
- Design and implement value-added HR strategies aligned with business objectives and healthcare best practices
- Lead employee relations efforts, ensuring compliance with state and federal employment laws while coaching managers through complex situations
- Partner with Talent Acquisition to ensure high-quality hiring aligned with departmental needs
- Support organizational restructuring initiatives, including workforce planning, communication strategies, and talent gap analysis
- Collaborate across HR functions (compensation, benefits, training, performance management) to deliver consistent and effective HR solutions
Qualifications You Should Have
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, or related field (Master’s preferred)
- Minimum of 7 years of progressive HR Business Partner experience
- Experience supporting large organizations or complex business units
- Prior experience working with unionized or represented employee populations
- Healthcare or hospital-based HR experience strongly preferred

- SPHR certification (plus)
