Summary
The HR Manager serves as both a strategic advisor and a hands-on HR practitioner, delivering high-impact support aligned with urgent business needs. This role partners with business leaders to drive talent strategies, workforce planning, and organizational effectiveness while managing core HR operations. The HR Manager ensures seamless execution of HR programs that enhance employee experience and accelerate business performance.
- Pay Range: $85,632 - $112,674 - $146,476***

Responsibilities
Strategic HR Leadership
- Act as a trusted advisor to leadership on hiring, retention, organizational design, talent planning, and change management.
- Partner with leadership to analyze workforce trends and implement HR strategies that align with business objectives.
- Champion a culture of accountability, engagement, and excellence across the organization.
- Lead change initiatives and serve as a cultural ambassador to drive adoption and alignment.
- Support succession planning by identifying high-potential talent and facilitating development plans.
- Promote diversity, equity, and inclusion by integrating inclusive practices into talent strategies.
Operational HR & Workday Administration
- Maintain and update employee records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with HR policies.
- Process HR transactions such as job changes, compensation adjustments, terminations, and new hires.
- Generate and analyze HR reports to identify trends and provide actionable insights.
- Provide guidance on compensation, payroll, benefits, and total rewards programs.
- Manage onboarding and offboarding processes to ensure a positive employee experience.
- Respond to employee inquiries and provide timely resolution of HR-related issues.
- Ensure HR practices comply with federal, state, and local employment laws; mitigate risk through proactive guidance.
- Track and report key HR metrics (e.g., turnover, engagement, time-to-fill) to inform decision-making and measure impact.
Employee Relations & Development
- Provide expert guidance on employee relations, policy interpretation, and organizational development.
- Coach and advise managers on performance management, employee development, and engagement strategies.
- Conduct unbiased investigations and resolve employee grievances promptly.
- Recommend new HR strategies, policies, and initiatives for continuous improvement.
- Implement all learning and development activities for employees, often in collaboration with other functions such as safety, operations, etc.
Qualifications
Minimum:
- 8 years of progressive HR experience; 5+ years in a leadership role.
- Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field.
- Proven ability to deliver timely, strategic HR support in fast-paced environments.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to connect HR strategies to business outcomes.
- Experience with HRIS systems (Workday preferred) and HR operational processes.
- Skilled in data analysis and process improvement to drive operational efficiency.
- Expertise in performance management, employee relations, and talent development.
- Comfortable engaging with senior leaders and influencing decision-making.
Preferred
- PHR, SPHR, or other HR certification.
- Master’s degree in Human Resource Management or related field.
