Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior HR Business Partner to work closely with business leaders and employees to deliver strategic and operational HR support. This role partners with internal customers to fully understand business objectives, proactively address workforce challenges, and provide guidance across a broad range of human resources functions. The ideal candidate brings deep HR expertise, strong business acumen, and the ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with leaders and employees to understand business needs, objectives, and workforce challenges, and provide effective HR solutions
- Serve as a primary HR liaison across multiple functional areas, including succession planning, talent management, labor relations, employment, employee relations, compensation, benefits, EEO, and learning & development
- Provide guidance and interpretation of HR policies, procedures, and labor agreements in compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations
- Support workforce planning initiatives using employee data, labor forecasts, recruiting metrics, surveys, and market data
- Advise leaders on employee relations matters, performance management, and conflict resolution
- Collaborate with HR Centers of Excellence and shared services teams to analyze, design, and improve HR processes and systems
- Contribute to the development and execution of strategies to attract, retain, reward, and motivate the workforce
- Ensure HR practices align with business plans and organizational goals
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 10+ years of progressive HR experience, preferably in an HR Business Partner or generalist role
- Strong knowledge of employment law, labor relations, compensation, benefits, and employee relations
- Proven ability to work with senior leaders and influence business decisions
- Experience analyzing workforce data, surveys, and market trends to support HR strategy
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and relationship-management skills
Preferred Qualifications
- HR certification (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP)
- Experience supporting large or complex organizations
