Our client is seeking a dynamic professional to oversee and enhance their HR operations. This strategic role involves managing HR functions efficiently, ensuring alignment with company values and compliance with regulations. **This role is based in the Southeast U.S. All candidates must be open to relocation.
Lead and manage HR projects with a national scope, while implementing site-specific initiatives.
Act as a strategic business partner, providing guidance on HR-related issues and building strong relationships with employees and managers.
Collaborate with global partners to optimize headcount costs and support HR business efforts in performance management, salary administration, and succession planning.
Address employee relations issues, conduct investigations, and recommend solutions to maintain a harmonious work environment.
Develop and deliver HR communications on various subjects, ensuring clarity and consistency.
Analyze HR metrics and prepare insightful reports to support decision-making.
Stay informed about industry trends and employment legislation to ensure compliance.
Maintain confidentiality and uphold ethical standards in all HR activities.
Manage and mentor HR staff, promoting their development and growth.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 7 years in Human Resources, including 3 years in a managerial role or 1 year as a Lead HR.
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field required; Master's degree preferred.
PHR or SPHR certification is a plus.
Proficient in US Federal and State employment laws, with strong project management skills.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems.
Travel: 10-20% travel required, with potential additional travel during plant start-up for training.
