Key Responsibilities
- Strategic HR planning, aligning people strategy with organizational goals
- Recruitment, onboarding, retention, and talent pipeline development
- Performance management, leadership development, and training initiatives
- Benefits and compensation management
- Employee relations, legal compliance, policies and governance
- DEI and culture transformation
- Oversight of compliance and continuous quality improvement
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Proven track record leading a high-functioning HR department
- Strategic thinker with systems/process redesign experience
- Excellent collaborator and relationship-builder across all levels
- Experience in nonprofit or similarly complex environments with multi-state operations
The VP of HR is a key executive role, with full responsibility for HR leadership, culture building, talent strategy, and compliance, reporting to the CEO. The position requires a high-level leader with deep HR expertise and experience scaling teams in a nonprofit or comparable environment.
